Monitoring

Overview

The Monitoring module provides access to an integrated Grafana dashboard where you can visualize, explore, and analyse all telemetry data collected from your assets and devices.

Clicking Monitoring in the menu bar redirects you to the Grafana interface at your dedicated instance.

What is Grafana?

Grafana is an open-source observability and data visualization platform widely used in industrial and IoT environments. It connects directly to your platform's data sources and allows you to build rich, interactive dashboards that display sensor readings, operational metrics, and historical trends in real time.

Key capabilities of Grafana include:

  • Time-series visualization — display sensor data over time with line, bar, gauge, and heatmap panels
  • Custom dashboards — build and arrange panels to match your operational workflows
  • Real-time data — charts update live as new telemetry arrives from your devices
  • Historical analysis — query and explore data across any time range
  • Threshold indicators — visually highlight values that fall outside defined ranges
  • Alerting — configure visual and notification-based alerts directly within dashboards
  • Multi-panel layouts — combine temperature, humidity, RPM, power, and any other sensor types in a single view
